Stephanie Evans is a mental health and disability rights advocate based in St. John’s, Newfoundland and Labrador. A social work graduate, she is passionate about building more accessible and equitable systems and is working toward establishing a private practice to support individuals facing systemic barriers. She serves on the Wavemakers Advisory Board and is the Chair and Newfoundland and Labrador Director for NEADS (National Association of Disabled Students). Her advocacy work includes pushing for paid placements through the MUNSU student union and supporting disabled students through the Canadian Federation of Students–NL. Stephanie was named Volunteer of the Year by the City of St. John’s and nominated for Diversability’s 2025 D-30 Disability List.
